The ledger
A receipt nobody can quietly change
Client names and amounts stay private in my database. Only a fingerprint of each receipt goes on the chain, which is enough to prove the receipt has not been altered since the day it was issued.
Signed
Each receipt's SHA-256 fingerprint is signed with my private key (ECDSA, secp256k1).
Mined into a block
The signed transaction is sealed into a proof-of-work block, linked by hash to every block before it.
Checked by anyone
Scan the QR code on a receipt and this site re-checks the hash, signature, Merkle proof and chain.
