What gets checked
The data
The receipt's details are hashed again and compared with the fingerprint taken when it was issued.
The signature
The fingerprint on the blockchain must be signed by Lord's wallet, and by no one else's.
The chain
A Merkle proof shows the transaction is in its block, and the whole chain is re-validated back to its first block.
